Covers Chenango- Delaware- Otsego and Schoharie counties in New York. Show roads running through Afton (Ononaghquaga Town)- Bainbridge- Sidney- Unadilla- Wells Bridge- Oneonta and Colliersville on the Susquehanna River; Sidney Center on Ouleout Creek; Walton- Delhi- Bloomville and Stamford on the West Branch of the Delaware River; and North Blenham- Breakabeen and Fultonham on Scoharie Creek. Also shows buildings and owners' names- landforms and streams. Oriented with north to upper left of sheet. Pen-and-ink- pencil on laid paper. Shows relief by hachures. Stained- foxed- creased- torn- frayed- and abraded. Mounted on cloth- bound and cropped- disbound and silked by subsequent owners. Cleaned after removal of backings 1999; some fill remains. Lined with China paper. Sheathed in mylar. The erroneous title proper is from map recto; it is the work of a later editor--Simeon DeWitt or his assign--subsequent to 1820. The index title- statement of responsibility- date- series title and series number by Erskine are found on a separate index sheet filed at head of series. Descriptive term added to series number by cataloger. Watermark: S & K.
