Description
This is the first historical print engraved in America. Blodget witnessed the battle and immediately afterwards drew the original plan from which Thomas Johnston made the line engraving. Relief shown pictorally. New-York Historical's copy: Handwritten note on side of map, "From New York to Pakeepsy 100 Miles. From Paukeepsy to Albany 65 m."
