Contract Two, 1903-1921 (bulk 1904-1907) The 2,869 Contract Two photographs show the continuation of subway construction by the Interborough Rapid Transit Company (IRT), connecting City Hall on the Lexington Avenue Line in Manhattan to Atlantic Avenue on the Eastern Parkway Line in Brooklyn via the Joralemon Street Tunnel under the East River (the 4 train and 5 train). There are many photographs of buildings along Joralemon Street in Brooklyn Heights.
