Strong, New York, to his six year old daughter, Eloise Strong, [Long Island?], enclosing fabric from cousin Sarah [daughter of Strong's brother Benjamin?], asking her to send him a letter, and encouraging her and Mary to be good for their Grand Mama; following the death of Strong's wife, Angelina, Strong's young daughters Eloise and Mary were sent to stay with their grandmother, Amelia Lloyd; lower left margin torn away.
