Letter from Joseph Strong, New York, to George W. Strong, Setauket, Long Island, regarding a recent trip to Goshen, N.Y. where Joseph Strong, husband of G.W. Strong's sister Margaret, attended a gathering where a young woman known to G.W. Strong was also present, the yellow fever then in the city with numbers of recent deaths, and J. Strong's hope to return to the city soon and for his wife and children to return from Setauket once the disease has died down; also mentions J. Strong's business partner Benjamin Ferris who has visited their office in Partition Street (now Fulton Street).
