Letter from George W. Strong, New York, to John Nelson Lloyd, Lloyd Neck, acknowledging receipt of an interest payment from William Beach Lawrence which he applied to Lloyd's accounts and of money for wood cut from Lloyd Neck for his daughters, and again complaining that Lloyd refuses compensation for his services on the Strong's behalf; Strong also discusses the health of various family members, asking the widow of Alexander Hamilton for some of his and George Washington's papers for Lloyd, the correct name of the man who had stayed with Lloyd's daughter Angelina and her husband in Quincy, Ill. (Mr. Moore), the accounting of wood cut from Lloyd Neck, Daniel Webster, and the likelihood that William Henry Harrison will win the upcoming election; Strong's signature has been cut away.
