Letter from George W. Strong, New York, to John Nelson Lloyd, Lloyd Neck, giving his preliminary thoughts on Gulian C. Verplanck's speech on the judiciary, reporting on the wedding of his niece Eliza Johnson to Horace Binney, Jr. which he greatly enjoyed and was quite impressed by the elder Mr. Binney (although he was less impressed by the groom), and Strong's recent visit to Boston with his family where he was involved in a dispute between John Borland and his sister Augusta Greene over their parents estates.
