The thirteen articles of convention are followed by: Extract of a letter from General Gates to Gen. Vaughan- dated Albany- October 20- 1777- concerning the British army's burning of Kingston- N.Y.; and a copy of the recommendation "to set apart Thursday- the 18th day of December next- for solemn thanksgiving and praise-" dated "In Congress- Nov. 1- 1777.
