Letter no. VI, addressed to John Jay, of the "Letters of Papinian: in which the conduct, present state and prospects, of the American Congress, are examined". The letters were first printed in 1779 in Rivington's Royal Gazette, and afterwards reprinted in Gaine's New-York Gazette. They were reissued the same year in book form in London and New York.
