Proposing the formation of societies by religious dissenters to counteract the overwhelming Episcopalian influence in New York and elsewhere. Includes text of a circular letter dated "New-York, May the 30th, 1769." and signed "Signed by order of the committee of correspondence. John M'Kesson, secry."; followed by the articles of a society of dissenters, organized by Peter Van Brugh Livingston and thirteen others. Printed in four columns. New-York Historical copy imperfect: closely trimmed at top, with slight loss of border. lower portion of the right-hand column of text clipped and lacking.
