The writings of John Dickinson (Philadelphia: Historical Society of Pennsylvania, 1895), p. 143. Imprint supplied by Evans. New-York Historical copy has manuscript verse in six stanzas on verso; according to Leicester, it is written in John Dickinson's hand; first line: "Tho' I sweep to & fro' old iron to find"; the poem is known as "The sweeper"; damaged along creases, with slight loss of text.
