New-York Historical Society Special Committee on the Audubon Drawings report to the Executive Committee, March 10, 1862 [i.e. March 10, 1863] [i.e. March 10, 1863]

"The Special Committee, to whom was referred the subject of the purchase of the Audubon Drawings, to inquire and report thereon, beg leave, as the result of their investigations, to submit the following report …". Signed at end: "New York, March 10, 1862 [sic]. Frederic De Peyster, Special Committee &c. &c." De Peyster presented the report and resolution to the Executive Committee at the meeting of March 17, 1863.
