Description
First line: Good people all both great and small. Text in two columns- separated by a single rule. "Full eight long years I served there- my country to defend; now I'm forsook- my nature broke- may each one be my friend. In Canada with Montgom'ry- where many men did die; the smallpox there I had a share- and lost my precious eye."--stanzas 4 and 5. General Richard Montgomery led the Continental Army against Montreal in 1775. He served in an earlier campaign against Montreal in 1759 during the French and Indian War.
