James Lloyd copy and account book, 1674-1823
Boston merchant and first lord of the Manor of Queens Village; acquired ca. 1676 the Long Island peninsula of Lloyd Neck (also known as Queen's Village), originally known as Horse Neck, and today part of Huntington township. Following James Lloyd's death, control of the property passed to his son, Henry Lloyd. Account book, 1676-1731, kept by Boston merchant James Lloyd; with later accounts of his son, Henry Lloyd.
