October 1, 1917—At Camp Wadsworth, S. C., pursuant to tele- bgraphic instructions of War Department, orders from Head- quarters 27th Division, 1600 enlisted men from Ist N. Y. Infantry and 320 enlisted men from 12th N. Y. Infantry were transferred to the 107th, to make it conform to the new war strength.
